About Us - Who we are |

Who we are Through worship, relevant teaching, real friendships and compassionate care, our desire is to be a church that helps people come to know Christ and where individuals are encouraged to develop in their Christian faith and be empowered to serve God. We are people from varied backgrounds and different Christian traditions. We do not fit the stereotypical church congregation of predominantly middle-class professional people: we are plumbers, electricians, shop workers, accountants, truck drivers, health workers, teachers and retired people, worshipping and sharing our faith together. |

Certainly not everyone found in our Sunday congregation will have grown up in our style of church fellowship. Many have come from other denominational traditions including Anglican, Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, Salvation Army and others. There are also people who came with no previous Christian experience but have now discovered Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Saviour. Our worship incorporates both modern and traditional music and ministries. Our goal is that everyone is able to worship in a meaningful way that glorifies God, strengthens the believers and enriches the whole church. We aim to be a church where everybody is somebody, and Jesus is Lord |
