About Us - Finance |
Finance Being an independent church, we rely on the faithfulness of our God and the tithes and offerings of our own members to maintain the premises and run activities. There are currently no paid employees and this enables us to give a significant proportion of our income to mission in this country and across the world. Our regular income comes predominantly from our own members, many of whom pay by monthly standing order directly from their bank accounts whilst others prefer to give by the traditional Sunday offering. Many members and friends of the Chapel have signed Gift Aid agreements allowing the Chapel to reclaim tax on their gifts and donations, and this is of significant benefit to the church finances. |

About Us |
Over the years, Sutton Coldfield Municipal Charities has awarded grants towards larger capital projects. A generous grant in 2008 enabled us to upgrade our old minibus to a modern comfortable mini-coach, now used for regular outings by 3GF and other groups, as well as for regular church activities. A further generous grant from SCMC fin 2011 funded an upgrade of the Chapel kitchen and catering facilities to professional standards. We endeavour to exercise careful budget management, negotiating best contracts with utility companies and other suppliers. These careful cost control measures enable us to direct a major proportion of tithes and offerings to the Lord’s work in ministry and mission. |
